Microsoft SharePoint Learning Kit 1.0 Certified

SharePoint Learning Kit (SLK) is a SCORM 2004-conformant e-learning delivery and tracking application built as a SharePoint v3 solution. It works with either Windows SharePoint Services 2007 or SharePoint Portal Server 2007, and has the following core features:
    * Supports SCORM 1.2, SCORM 2004, and Class Server content, allowing users to store and manage this content in SharePoint document libraries.
    * Supports a learner-centric or instructor-led (assigned) workflow.
    * Allows assignment, tracking and grading of both e-learning and non-e-learning content.

Pham Minh Duc announced a SCORM 2004 module for Moodle and is asking for evaluation and feedback.

Make any web-based Powerpoint presentation scorm compatible

The DesignSpace.net states it's easy to export Powerpoint presentations to the web, but they aren't automatically scorm compatible. To add simple scorm capability to your web-export, follow the instructions and code.

They also have made available a SCORM-ready template: Part 1 and Part 2.

SAKAI and SCORM 2004

The Sakai Project is a community source software development effort to design, build and deploy a new Collaboration and Learning Environment (CLE) for higher education. The Project began in January, 2004. On April 11th, 2006, John Gorrono posted a SCORM 2004 Runtime Tool in limited Alpha release. This is exciting news for the academic community.
